Default Alkaline Hydrolisis and End Repair

Hello all,

I wanted to fragment my RNA using alkaline hydrolysis followed by linker ligation (RNA-RNA). I wanted to know if I needed to repair/modify the ends of the fragmented RNA prior to ligation.
