    PhD Student Position (E13 TV-G-U, 50-65 % part-time)

    Applications are invited for a PhD student position available at the Institute for Cardiovascular Regeneration at the University of Frankfurt (Germany).

    We are seeking exceptional and highly motivated candidates in the field of bioinformatics. The successful candidate will be expected to have specific expertise in writing of programs (e.g. C++, Java, Perl, Python), working knowledge about biological databases, hands-on experience with biological data (especially microarray and NGS data), computer skills in a UNIX/LINUX environment, and excellent communication and organization skills.

    While knowledge of the German language is not mandatory, excellent written and spoken English skills are required.

    Minimum Degree Required: M.S. or equivalent in Biology/Bioinformatics/Computer Science
