Default Reference level to Contrast

Hello,
I have a question about the setting of DESeq2.

The function contrast compares all the combination between samples
for example if I have A,B and C they will be A vs B and C , C B and A means 4 combinations for 4 log2FC.
In this case I won't have a reference level to set isn't it?

Thanks
