Has anyone experience with the XSEDE portal for assembling PacBio reads using the smrtanalysis pipeline? I have found smrtanalysis on a machine called Mason at IU, and access is available through XSEDE.org. I am able to log in to Mason through XSEDE, hoever, when I try to upload the big .bas.h5 files, the login.xsede.org sign in portal runs out of memory and the transfer stops. I have tried a couple different sftp strategies with no luck.
I have also set up a Globus account with my computer here as an endpoint, but I don't seem to be able to find the endpoint on Mason. Has anyone tried to do this before? I have questions in to the help desk but it never hurts to have more eyes. Thanks.
