Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has experience with (a) metatranscriptomics run(s) on the NovaSeq 6000? Our preferred company switched from HiSeq to NovaSeq. We are planning to sequence about 110 soil samples. Some years ago, we used the BiooScientific NEXTflex™ Rapid Directional mRNA-Seq Kit for a HiSeq 2500 run. I guess NEXTFLEX® Rapid Directional RNA-Seq Kit 2.0 or the NEXTFLEX® Rapid Directional qRNA-Seq™ Library Prep Kit are the current incarnations. Are these compatible with NovaSeq? Are there alternatives you could suggest? Thanks! Best regards |

Does anybody have any suggestions?
In addition, is it possible to multiplex >100 samples on a NovaSeq using existing tags? thanks |

Yes it is possible to do 384 (and many more if you do custom designs).
