I would like an opinion on how best to analyse pacbio data for base modifications when there is no access to a sequencing facility running an established SMRT link system. I only need the SMRT tools for this but have not found an easy way to install them on my iMac. There does not seem to be any third party software to do the same thing. Any advice appreciated.
