Why hello there!
I'm a senior graduate student in the Human Genetics department at UCLA.
Currently, we're sequencing brain cancer samples utilizing both SOLiD and Solexa GAII.
My interests in the sequencing world are wide-ranging, but recently I've successfully developed an approach to identify translocations at single base resolution in our whole genome sequence data from the SOLiD platform.
I'm also starting up a blog to expound on my personal thoughts and experiences regarding sequencing and genomics right now that you're welcome to visit.
