  • Clinical Genomics & Informatics Europe 2013 - Preliminary Agenda Released

We are proud to announce the preliminary agenda for Bio-IT World and CHI's Clinical Genomics & Informatics Europe 2013

Taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, 4-6 December 2013, the conference will bring together the international genomics and informatics communities to tackle the huge amounts of sequencing data produced by new technologies that present significant challenges for bioinformatics, both in terms of the analysis and interpretation of clinical data.

Keynote presenters include Dr. Tim Hubbard, Senior Group Leader of Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and Dr. Niklas Blomberg, Founding Director of ELIXIR. Additional featured speakers include Brian Haas, Manager of Genome Annotation at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard; Marcel Dinger, Head of Clinical Genomics at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research; and David Barton, Chair of the European Molecular Genetics Quality Network. The presenters will deliver real-world insights for advancing biomedical research through four dedicated tracks: Clinical Exome Sequencing, RNA Sequencing and Transcriptome Analysis, High-Scale Computing, and Genome Informatics. Also available at the event are two technical symposia on Clinical Epigenetics and Quantitative Digital Detection Technologies.
