Hi all, Can Miseq be programmed to read different lengths for read 1 and read 2?
Also, if one skips the cycles used for indexing can those cycles be added onto the reads? For example, instead of a 2 X 75 run with 2 index reads of 8 bases, could one just do a 2 X 83 run with no index reads? |

Yes, and yes. For the total number of cycles you can run see http://emea.support.illumina.com/bul...in-my-kit.html
