Default DNA contamination

Hi,
We are interested in do a RNAseq using Illumina platform and selecting mRNA by its poliA tail, but we are concerned about DNA contamination, is this a really concern using this protocol?. We have purified RNA using a column and we checked that our RIN number is very good. Thereare some way to know if our sample is contaminated with DNA before to send our sample to sequence?.
Thanks in advance
