Question Ion Torrent libraries on proton?

Hello SEQanswers users

Does anyone have the adaptor sequences for the Proton?

I am hoping at one point to run an Ion Torrent library on the Proton and wonder if the adaptors sequences differ.

Thanx!

Hi Apex,

Libraries for the Ion Proton Sequencer are indeed made using the same adaptors presently used on Ion PGM Sequencer. This means that you can sequence PGM libraries via the OneTouch 2 and Proton Sequencer, taking into account the insert size and final library length guidelines for each template prep/sequencing system. Your Field Applications Scientist or local Technical Support team will be able to guide you on the recommendations for your applications and sequencing read length for each system.

Is the 200bp read length kit available for the Proton?
