We are playing around with RiboZero (H/m/r) for total RNA sequencing of several organisms (worm, fruitfly, human) - preliminary results, when it comes to rRNA removal (though fruitfly needs more work), look promising.
However, the caveat of course is that this kit (like Ribo Minus) does not remove tRNA. Question: has anyone given this a try or could suggest a method for removing tRNA?
(size selection is not an option for total RNA concentrations of less than 60ug input, DSN is not an option either).
