Sample titrations

i Everyone,

I'd just like to get an idea of how many (if any) sample titrations
people are using for cluster generation when the sample has never been
sequenced before (although the G+C content is known) and the genome is
small (i.e. bacterial or viral genomes, megaplasmids etc). What about
DGE samples? Do people still follow the recommendation in the Illumina
documentation?

I perform mainly ChiP-Seq and don't titrate samples at all. It did it once shortly after the GA was installed sticking since then to a 2,5pM concentration (measured with Agilents bioanalyzer) yielding 22-32k colonies / tile (GA1!).
