Default Get UniprotID for gene ID

Hello, newbie here trying to figure out the basic tools. I need to get a Uniprot ID for each gene that I have in my organisms annotation (GFF3) file. The gene names are in the format "ostta01g00010". I tried the Uniprot tools but it doesn't recognize those gene names. I'd be grateful for any help. Many thanks
