I am building a FastQ/SFF viewer/editor (http://seqanswers.com/forums/showthr...409#post140409) tool with graphic interface.
The FastQ part is almost ready. Now I am adding support for SFF. What is the maximum size of a SFF file? Is it limited to 4GB? Last edited by create.share; 05-30-2014 at 01:55 AM. |

No, but the Roche SSF indexes are limited to (nearly) 4GB. Larger SFF files are possible.
