Research Associate for DNA Sequencing/Genotyping Core Facility
Seeking a molecular genetics/biology PhD or MA with experience in DNA sequencing and genetics and/or genomics technology. Candidates should be multitasking and problem solving with strong managerial and communication skills to operate and manage instrumentation and technologists in an institutional core facility. Experience with next-generation DNA sequencing technology (i.e., Illumina/Solexa) and UNIX conversant preferred. Also must be abreast of the latest techniques and equipment. Candidate will facilitate investigators, oversee core technicians and finances, and educate researchers about core capabilities and services.
