cufflink -p option

Now I use computer performed as CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K, RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 DDR4 2400 C15 4x8GB.

when I running bioinformatics tools such as cufflink, how many threads can I use (-p)?
could I use maximum -p 5820??

You have a 6-core processor that is thread enabled. You can run two threads per core the most you can/should use is -p 12.
