I'm wondering if anyone out there has tried/compared multiple rRNA subtraction methods of C. elegans total RNA or has any comments on the matter?
I'd like to use a kit for RNA isolation that doesn't involve poly-A selection so as not to deplete my sample of possibly un-polyadenylated RNAs. I know that there are 2 major kits out there Ribo-Zero(epicenter/Illumina) and Ribo-Minus (Invitrogen) and was hoping that some of you might know which one works better for reducing C. elegans rRNA. Any info is greatly appreciated!
