Can anyone recommend a good sequencing facility?

    Thanks!

The McGill University and Génome Québec Innovation Centre (http://www.gqinnovationcenter.com/index.aspx) is a very good facility with a wide array of supported applications and services. From my experience, they provide excellent data on Illumina GaIIx and will have HiSeq up and running at the beginning of the next year.

      EA

You can try EA on the east coast since you are in GA

Your clinical genomics service provider for a range of genomic laboratory services to support drug discovery, precision medicine and clinical development.

Washington University, Genome Technology Access Center in St. Louis. They have two GAIIx's and 2 HiSeq's that are up and working. Great pricing too.

MGRC have a Illumina HiSeq 2000 and 454 running and offer complete bioinformatics support if that's important to you. http://www.mgrc.com.my/index.shtml
Perhaps if you post some info about the project then people with capacity on their machines could get in touch with you?

                  Consider Global Genome Research Institute

Newly formed non-profit, working with number of genome centers to get the job done. May not be cheapest, but one of high quality data producer. www.ggri.org

What are the best rates that you have seen per human sample for whole genome, whole-exome, and RNA-seq, including library prep and bioinformatic analysis? Recommendations would be great.

                      Dear shins,

EASIH or Eastern Sequence and Informatics Hub in Cambridge UK have a GS junior.

Despite advancements in sequencing platforms and related sample preparation technologies, certain sample types continue to present significant challenges that can compromise sequencing results. Pedro Echave, Senior Manager of the Global Business Segment at Revvity, explained that the success of a sequencing experiment ultimately depends on the amount and integrity of the nucleic acid template (RNA or DNA) obtained from a sample. “The better the quality of the nucleic acid isolated...
