Hi,
I am new to SEQanswers as well as bowtie (having failed to run blast efficiently on a 2.37 GHz;4GB RAM 2-core CPU). I am only trying to run example files (from http://seqanswers.com/wiki/How-to/RN..._pathogen_data) to learn RNAseq analysis. With the following bowtie command, I end in getting error message (crashing program)
command:
bowtie -t -p 2 -S -a -m 1 -v 1 arabidopsis c:/New/rnaSeq/SRR074262.fastq srr074262.sam
Error message in a popup window:
The instruction at "0x2880a82a" referenced memory at "0x2880a82a". The memory could not be "read".
click on Ok to terminate the program
click on CANCEL to debug the program
It suggests debugging. How do I go about? I have tried to run with options -p removed or with only -t -S -a to no avail.
Help me please. Thanks.
