  • Help me.. Run is alredy started, But...

Run already started, but I wrote wrong sample name in sample sheet.
    How to change sample name?
    Index information is correct.

It is not a problem. You can demultiplex sequencing data again with correct names after run has finished.

How to do demultiplexing? Thank you for your help...

That depends on the system and machine configuration. Illumina now has 24 hour Tech support ad I would suggest to contact them for tailored support.

Since sample names are only used to annotate the result files all you would need to do is change the file name once the demultiplexing is done.

If you used an incorrect index/tag sequence then you would need to correct the sample sheet and re-run the demultiplexing using MiSeq reporter or basespace.

Hey, re-demultiplexing is fairly simple. Here is a PDF explaining it for the MiSeq.

You want to look at page 11 "Requeue Analysis". Basically, you need to open up the Miseq Reporter Software through your browser. Next, go to your analysis folder of this run, and in that folder replace the file that says "SampleSheet.csv" with your new SampleSheet.csv. Make sure you name your file exactly like the old file and the contents are formatted correctly, including the Kit-ID and date etc.

Next you can choose to "Requeue" your sample and run the whole analysis/demultiplexing again.

Let me know if you need further help.

you can also redemultiplex in basespace by updating the sample sheet (just put the one incorrect sample in the updated sample sheet or all your samples will be duplicated in their projects)

Essential Discoveries and Tools in Epitranscriptomics
                by seqadmin

The field of epigenetics has traditionally concentrated more on DNA and how changes like methylation and phosphorylation of histones impact gene expression and regulation. However, our increased understanding of RNA modifications and their importance in cellular processes has led to a rise in epitranscriptomics research. “Epitranscriptomics brings together the concepts of epigenetics and gene expression,” explained Adrien Leger, PhD, Principal Research Scientist...

                Current Approaches to Protein Sequencing
                by seqadmin

Proteins are often described as the workhorses of the cell, and identifying their sequences is key to understanding their role in biological processes and disease. Currently, the most common technique used to determine protein sequences is mass spectrometry. While still a valuable tool, mass spectrometry faces several limitations and requires a highly experienced scientist familiar with the equipment to operate it. Additionally, other proteomic methods, like affinity assays, are constrained...
