Greetings,
I am studying NGS algorithms such as baySeq, edgeR, DESeq, and many more. I am also studying the R language and learning how to write scripts and using bioconductor. I currently can write scripts for randomly generated count data for pairwise comparison. I can also produce basic adjusted p-values for this data for the algorithms given above in R.
My question is simple as is as follows. Can anyone recommend any educational resources for data simulation in R and producing ROC curve diagrams? I want to be able to reproduce some of the findings I am reading in papers in R for my own understanding.
I am aware of this package in R(http://bcf.isb-sib.ch/data/compcodeR/) that can do this almost automatically, but in order to duplicate results in papers, I think it is much more robust to be able to do data simulations and diagrams manually.
Thanks for your time.
