Does it work to use AMPure XT beads purifing human genomic DNA?

Dear all,

Have anyone tried to purify genomic DNA with Agencourt AMPure XP beads (#A63882)?? if yes, what is the recovery rate?? or what is the maximum DNA sizes you have tried for AMPure beads purification?

For a few hundreds bp of dsDNA, we usually can recover >90% of DNA.

I asked and it will not work due to the length of genomic.

The only thing that works consistently is old school Ethanol Precipitations.
