Illumina Cancer Panel problems
We are getting either no or low yield after the PCR when running this assay. One thing we have noticed is that during the long annealing of the initial primers, there is substantial evaporation even using the recommended plates and seals. We switched to strip tubes which fixed this issue, however we continue to get very low yields whether on our samples or the positive controls. Has anyone else had issues like this with either the cancer panel or the custom amplicon panel? We have checked with Illumina technical service but have yet to figure out what is going on. Input would be appreciated.
