Basically my lab's looking for a version Phix that has not been sheered, doesn't have any adaptors or barcodes on it, etc., etc. to use as a in-line control for our library preparations.
Any of know of anything like that? |

You can buy PhiX 174 genomic DNA from any vendor that sells DNA. However, I would advise against using it as an inline control as it would contaminate your sequencing data. You could use it as a separate positive control, although any genomic DNA would could be used for this purpose. The Illumina in-line controls would be the ideal way to monitor the library preparation process.
