Dimension reduction on count data

Hi there,

i know you can go with PCA or factor analysis to decrease the dimension of your count (say RPKM / FPKM) data and visualize it. However, are there methods who are capable of reduction to say [0,1] to further use count data as features for certain ML techniques?

Or are there ML implementations which can handle count data directly?
