<first post didn't post for some reason. ho-hum. This is my 2nd time to introduce myself.>
Hello everyone! I'm Pauline, from the Philippines, a graduate of BS Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of the Philippines. I'm currently working on a collaborative project with the Philippine Genome Center that uses genotyping by sequencing (GBS) for SNP marker discovery. I'm going to work with Illumina MiSeq and NextSeq 500 platforms.
I'm familiar with the theoretical principles behind NGS but it's really my first time to actually deal with it. I need to learn A LOT! From the workflow, optimizing libraries for sequencing, and the bioinformatics stuff as well. Hope to learn from you all! And I hope to contribute what I can as well.
