  • cummerbund error: expired SQLiteConnection

    Hi,

    I'm using cummeRbund and it's working fine, only that after reloading the R workspace I cannot access the database anymore but I get an error saying:
    Error in sqliteExecStatement(con, statement, bind.data) :
    RS-DBI driver: (expired SQLiteConnection)
    (So this is after quitting R, restarting R, initializing cummeRbund, reloading the workspace, and trying to access the pointer "cuff")
    Can anyone help me on how to re-connect to the SQLite Connection?
    Thanks in advance and sorry if it's a dumb question... I'm very new to bioinformatics...

    Did you resolve this problem?

    I'm running into the same one, and I'm stuck.

      in case you haven't solved it yet:
      you have to re-run cuff<-readCufflinks() to initialize the database
      only if no cuffData.db database is present the command builds it from scratch, otherwise it simply initializes the exisiting database

          Strategies for Sequencing Challenging Samples
          by seqadmin

          Despite advancements in sequencing platforms and related sample preparation technologies, certain sample types continue to present significant challenges that can compromise sequencing results. Pedro Echave, Senior Manager of the Global Business Segment at Revvity, explained that the success of a sequencing experiment ultimately depends on the amount and integrity of the nucleic acid template (RNA or DNA) obtained from a sample. “The better the quality of the nucleic acid isolated...
