Velvet -output format

Dear friends,

I have recently started using velvet. On running velveth i get two files Roadmap and Sequences. Can anybody tell me what the internal structure of these file format means, especially the Roadmap file where you get the output:
ROADMAP 301
45 12 6 8
-1 12 0 -1
-1 12 0 -1

And also, if anyone could tell me how to run velvet on illumina's paired-end bustard qseq.txt files that would be great.
