Hi,
I tried to install the current version of cufflinks-1.2.1 on my 64-bit Mac workstation, but not succeed, either using the binary or building from the source. The error message I got is always like this:
$ ./cufflinks
dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022
Trace/BPT trap
I talked to two other colleagues using Mac workstation as well and they had the same problem and the only solution is to go back to a couple of versions earlier. I had finally settled on version 1.0.2 binary, which looks fine so far from the test_data output, only throwing a warning telling my cufflinks is 'not up-to-date' and "upgrade to Cufflinks v1.2.1 to benefit from the most recent features and bug fixes". Yes, I know, but I can't!
The authors claimed on their website that installation problem is not their priority to help, but if you publish some tool can't even be installed, what's the point then?
