    single cell rna seq and atac seq on tiny samples

    Hi all,

    would appreciate any advice - I am running 10x multiomic experiments on microdissected rat brain regions and running into issues with cell yield when carrying out nuclei isolation.

    I'm starting with ~8mg of tissue. I have tried FACS sorting nuclei only, and I have tried Optiprep gradient isolation but I still end up losing a high proportion of nuclei.

    I'm at a loss, any ideas?
