Hello everyone,
I am having a bit of a problem using the SRA toolkit on the external server i use. I've downloaded it using the command line installation available on their website, gunzip-ed and tar-ed it to extract the directory, and edited my path to include the bin within the directory.
Then, when i try to run fastq-dump this happens:
User$ fastq-dump --split-files MySRA.sra
-bash: /home/Programs/SRAtools_Linux/bin/fastq-dump: Invalid argument
This also occurs when i just try to run the help tool
User$ fastq-dump --help
-bash: /home/Programs/SRAtools_Linux/bin/fastq-dump: Invalid argument
Can someone please help me?
Thank you
