The Office of Informational Technology (OIT) is searching for an experienced system administrator and developer and user support person to act as a 'Campus Cyberinfrastructure Engineer (CIE)' as part of a National Science Foundation funded two-year project to augment and develop the use of cyberinfrastructure in support of research IT efforts at UCI. Successful fulfillment of the goals and tasks of the initial project will allow the position to continue beyond the two year period and become a permanent staff position within OIT.

The position reports within OIT's Research Computing Support (RCS) group which supports research computing clusters and storage, high performance networking, scientific computing support in Bioinformatics, parallel computing, graphical information systems, and other others of research IT.
