Default mapping with gmap

Hi there

I'm trying to map data with gmap. It runs, but it takes hours.
he prints a message: no paths found for .... is this good or bad???
I've got paired-end files with each 6 gb
How much data gives gmap?? it's now 25gb.

That message is normal but it means that gmap could not find any alignment for that read. Path may refer to the algorithm used in gmap...
