  • Looking for high coverage dataset

    Hi everyone,

I've been reading and learning for some time from this forum, it assisted me in solving some alignment problems!

For some time now I'm working with low coverage samples, and as a additional part of my research I would like to use a dataset with a higher coverage. I've used regular sources to look for available datasets (1000genomes ftp, EBI, etc.), but I haven't found what I'm looking for. It could of course be possible that the data is not available, but as I'm often not completely sure of where to look, I'm hoping it is available somewhere.

Ideally the dataset I'm looking for is similar to the data I currently use (Illumina HiSeq 2000, whole genome sequencing, Single End, Non-cancer human genome sample), with a coverage of 30x or higher.

Does anyone know where I can find such a dataset? Or can someone point me in the right direction (other databases)?

    Thanks in advance!

        Strategies for Sequencing Challenging Samples
        by seqadmin

Despite advancements in sequencing platforms and related sample preparation technologies, certain sample types continue to present significant challenges that can compromise sequencing results. Pedro Echave, Senior Manager of the Global Business Segment at Revvity, explained that the success of a sequencing experiment ultimately depends on the amount and integrity of the nucleic acid template (RNA or DNA) obtained from a sample. “The better the quality of the nucleic acid isolated...
