Hey,
I'm trying to verify the strand reads for my ranseq_data using RSeQC's infer_experiment script.
I'm a bit confused by the documentation (found here: http://rseqc.sourceforge.net/#infer-experiment-py)
Would the following indicate a first strand or second strand library type? This is my first type using this documentation and I'm still wrapping my head around the different strand read options. Thank you so much!
1+-,1-+,2++,2–-
read1 mapped to ‘+’ strand indicates parental gene on ‘-‘ strand
read1 mapped to ‘-‘ strand indicates parental gene on ‘+’ strand
read2 mapped to ‘+’ strand indicates parental gene on ‘+’ strand
read2 mapped to ‘-‘ strand indicates parental gene on ‘-‘ strand
