  • RAST server annotation result to STAMP statistical software

    Hi,
I have annotated the 5 bacterial genome using RAST server, can we take the output from RAST server and use it in a STAMP statistical software.

What i am trying to say is If we use MG-RAST server, we can download the table from it and use stamp for statistical analysis.

Can we do such type of statistics with RAST server as well ?

Yes you can make input profiles from MG-RAST and use them in STAMP. It tell you how to in the STAMP manual.

      open stamp

      click on create stamp profile

search tsv file from ur computer

make a the metafile in txt with the information of the genome like---

      3234324.3 happy
      2343434.3 happy
      1234234.3 unhappy
      1232312.3 unhappy

use this file as the category to compare.

      next
upload the metafile and the stamp file

        Strategies for Sequencing Challenging Samples
        by seqadmin

Despite advancements in sequencing platforms and related sample preparation technologies, certain sample types continue to present significant challenges that can compromise sequencing results. Pedro Echave, Senior Manager of the Global Business Segment at Revvity, explained that the success of a sequencing experiment ultimately depends on the amount and integrity of the nucleic acid template (RNA or DNA) obtained from a sample. “The better the quality of the nucleic acid isolated...
