The Bioinformatics Database Programmer will have a strong history of creating lab information management systems (LIMS). The ideal candidate will have a history of creating, generating, and maintaining a robust database experimental reporting and tracking system. This position can be based at our Guilford, CT or San Francisco, CA offices.
Essential skills and background include:
• Knowledgeable in python, django, htrml, PostgreSQL, linux scripting.
• Proven ability to create high level summary reports, and generate meaningful statistics from genomic data.
• Demonstrated use of genome tools including mappers, aligners.
• Knowledge of bioperl a plus.
