Assistance with sequence assembly

I'm offering my services as an independent consultant, and am located in Gainesville, Florida, USA. From my work at the University of Florida I've gained a good deal of experience with assembling 454 and Illumina paired-end data, and to date have put together genomic sequences for 10 E. coli strains. I have a Ph.D in Genetics/Microbiology, and have a knack for dealing with rearrangements such as deletions and copy number variants that are not always handled well by standard sequence mapping programs. Dealing with insertion sequences that transpose to multiple sites has become one of my specialties.
