Default De novo hybrid assembly of 454/illumina : CLC workbench

I am working on a workflow for a hybrid denovo assembly of 454 and illumina data using the CLC genomics workbench. I was wondering if anyone has done similar work, and if so what steps they took to get optimal results.

Dear BardJ. Sorry about the late answer. I was just splunking through SeqAnswers, and I found your question. Hybrid assemblies are a common use of the Workbench. I can send you a publication that references this work. In general, there are separate assembly criteria for each type of data, and the default criteria are a good place to start. Since you posted, the de novo assembler is even more efficient. I hope you gave it a try. If not, try it again now.
