    Job Description:
    The Genome Sequencing Analyst II assists in the operation of the laboratory by performing specialized tasks involving genome sequencing in an automated, high throughput environment. Shares responsibility for the set up and operation of various automated DNA sequencers and associated instruments. Responsible for basic molecular lab duties in a high throughput sequencing lab. Interacts with various researchers by providing sequencing expertise to augment ongoing research. (MJP)


    Job Qualifications:
    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    A Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or life sciences with three (3) years of experience in a laboratory environment required.
    OR
    A Master's degree in biology, chemistry, or life sciences with no additional experience in a laboratory environment required.

    Preferred Skills: Experience with DNA sequencing and molecular biology techniques is preferred. Prior experience using automated DNA sequencing instrumentation and software is also a plus.
