storage of Amplicon Sequencing products for MiSeq

Greetings, i have a very basic question. I 18 samples that have been PCR amplified with barcoded primrs, cleaned, and have been stored at 4 degrees C for a few days. Will the quality of the barcodes decrease at 4 degrees versus -20? If anyone has any experience with running these types of experiments, and wouldn't mind sharing, i would appreciate it.

We've been wondering about this too recently. We also have a lot of sunlight in our lab and our 4C fridge has a glass door so we've started to keep libraries in boxes or wrapped in foil. Would be interested to see what others have experienced.

DNA should be fine for months at 4 degrees, provided there's no nuclease contamination.
