We are interested in small non-coding RNAs. Whomever you ask about the size range of small RNAs, you get a different answer.
Lets assume, small RNAs range to 200 nt.
Is far as I know, there is the possibility of either small-RNA sequencing (miRNAs) OR 40 - 200 nt, but no combined protocol.
Has someone an idea, or is there a protocol/strategy out there which allows the sequencing of the 18 - 200 nt RNA fraction from total RNA with SOLiD? Or lets take 18 - 75 as this is the maximum readlength for SOLiD.
