Default Bacterial genomic DNA isolation

Hello folks,

I need to preapre 20-30g of bacterial genomic DNA. What are good methods to do this?

The JGI institue recommend a protocol using CTAB. This protocol uses phenol so i will need a good method for gDNA purification, any ideas?

I am greatful for any advise,
