Default Sonicator recommendation

Not sure if this question was posted previously.
We are considering Sonication alternative to nebulization as we need to handle 350+ samples, each sample per lane. So gel purification will not be an realistic option. We'd like to generate 250 bp or larger frament in fairly tight size range using sonication if possible.

Any recommendation of a particular sonicator doing such reliable production?
Your experience and/or source of information/reference regarding sonication would be greatly appreciated.

I think Danaher (Dover systems, the Polonator) recommends the HydroShear for just that reason...reproducible fragment size. A little pricey though (was quoted at ~$18,500 from Applied Biosystems).
