Hi,
Does anyone know the run time and read length? I found many specs on the internet but those are missing so far (will keep looking). Cheers Last edited by Bruins; 02-25-2010 at 03:36 AM. |

Found: 50-100 bp read length, 10 day run time.

I had heard still 50 base reads for version 4. ~70 bases for version 4hq (to be released Q4 2010).
But v4 was to allow paired end reads, "SOLiD Gold" kit. Those would probably be 50 one end, 35 bases the other end. (Not to be confused with "mate pair" reads. In principle both methods could be combined...) -- Phillip |
