Hello @NGS
Presently, i am running FALCON assembler for assembly of plant genome data (original fasta file (105) which is ~14.11 GB & compressed dexta file ~3.5GB) on our server equipped with 64 processors. For that assembly data, input for FALCON required as follows: 1. fc_run_cfg where job queue is local and processor applied was 58 My question is that how much time FALCON assembler will take to run this plant genome on the above mentioned cpu machine. For your information, the Falcon job is still running with 7 days fully completed and now 8th day has been started. Job running presently in FALCON is fc_consensus |
