Question Custom dyes for fragment analysis on ABI 3730xl

We would like to develop our own matrix for fragment analysis on the 3730xl machines using different dyes (e.g. ATTO, YakimaYellow etc.). Is it possible for the ABI to detect different dyes than the ones used by default filter sets?

Hi

Yes, as long as the emission frequency is in range of the camera and they can be reasonably separated. When performing the matrix, you have the "any 4 dye" and "any 5 dye" specifically for this purpose.

Best
