Default Task: True homologue?

I have a set of similar protein sequences from vertebrates that contain no known domain, and that I have found by BLASTP searches.

How can I use one of the sequences to find a more divergent homologue and how can I test if it is a true homologue??

How can I use all of the sequences to find more divergent homologues?

I'm guessing on multiple alignment, profile and so on...

This is not a hand-in task, but itīs a task from my book that I do want to solve... so I'm very grateful for some help
