I don't completely understand the difference in analyzing MLST data using BAPS ( Bayesian Analysis of genetic Population Structure ) and eBURST.
In both cases you end up with a subdivision of the strains into groups, although they are based on a comparison of the allele numbers (eBURST) or the DNA sequence (BAPS) respectively - if I got it right.
I couldn't find any information when to use one or the other and about the advantages/disadvantage of the two.
